Message Introduction: Unfortunately, I did not know my natural father much when I was growing up because he died when I was still less than four years old, but I spent quite some time with my mum, so I knew her to a great extent before she passed away untimely. I am a true child of my parents, and I am sure everyone reading this message will agree with themselves, especially if there was/is so much love and caring from both sides! In many cases, most people do not need to introduce their parents when standing with strangers or friends for the first time because their presence around you would do the introduction. Sometimes, some people imagine them as sisters, brothers or any other relative because of their resemblance and similarities. But, some main features will qualify a child to belong to their actual parents. By law, there have been other means of people parenting a child or children. For simplicity, we will mention adoption only in this discussion.
Adoptive Parents (adoption): Lack of knowledge of how certain things should work or happen in this life is affecting a larger part of humanity! That's why God could not help holding it back but let it out - ( Hosea 4:6 ) “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.” It must be noted here that it is not in all cases of adoption that the parents were/are not able to have a child by mating as a husband and wife. ( Genesis 25:21 ) says, “ Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer and his wife Rebekah became pregnant.
However, it seems adoption has become very popular as many people are becoming too lazy for the conception process. Many others are desperately hoping they could have their biological children as a couple but for some reason are unable and have been trying the wrong means to no avail or the detriment of their lives. Now listen to the angel of the Lord in ( Judges 13:2-3 ), "A certain man of Zorah, named Manoah, from the clan of the Danites, had a wife who was childless, unable to give birth. The angel of the Lord appeared to her and said, “You are barren and childless, but you are going to become pregnant and give birth to a son." The following are some interesting stories of adoption in the Old Testament of the Bible:
( Exodus 2:10 ) "When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, “I drew him out of the water.” ( 1 Kings 11:20 ) " The sister of Tahpenes bore him a son named Genubath, whom Tahpenes brought up in the royal palace. There Genubath lived with Pharaoh's own children.). ( Esther 2:7 ) Mordecai had a cousin named Hadassah, whom he had brought up because she had neither father nor mother. This young woman, who was also known as Esther, had a lovely figure and was beautiful. Mordecai had taken her as his own daughter when her father and mother died…(the young woman Mordecai had adopted, the daughter of his uncle Abihail)... And Esther won the favour of everyone who saw her.). So adoption is legal and biblical.
Biological parents: Procreation, as God instructed our first parents, is a natural and biological way of couples (natural man and woman) mating and producing a child. The evidence of true parents and child is buried in the DNA of both the parents and the child. A child's behaviours and characters most often come from their parents. So, it is easy to identify some relatives by how they present themselves- what they say, their actions and their reactions toward others. Bloodline is a word that seems to be common among many people, even in different countries. It is a way of saying members of a particular family or a people of a particular clan or nation can be traced down to many generations of parents through their blood or DNA. And to be honest, the entire world could have been traced down to Adam and Eve had they been able to know a way of collecting blood samples for DNA tests and preserving them like we do today. The case between the two mothers, prostitutes in the time of King Solomon in 1 King 3:16-28 ( ) was/is very famous because it was a difficult decision to make, but wisdom was applied to resolve the matter. In a nutshell, we are all related and connected by the blood of Adam and Eve! Science can now link certain illnesses, sicknesses and diseases to people's bloodlines (this is another topic I will deal with in the future). To some extent, they are correct! But it proves that God is too powerful to be messed about with because he says in Deuteronomy 5:9 ( ), “You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.” Although God is not necessarily responsible for most or any of these bloodline calamities, He allows them until the people repent from their sinful ways.
The affection of true and loving parents- adoption or biological:
It’s very important how a child is born or adopted into a family but irrelevant to some extent when compared to how the child is being looked after. The most important factor about a child is the training, care and treatment they get from their parents. In this area, I will discuss the following subheadings with you:
Bad Parenting:
This means that the parents are not doing all that they should do to ensure a decent life and upbringing for the child. ( Proverb 22:6 ) says, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it”. The Bible also warns us ( Proverb 13:24 ) to discipline our children. This is very important. Bad parenting puts many people at risk including the immediate family, extended family, friends, the community and the child in question. ( Exodus 32:9 ) talks about stiff-necked people. Moses did his best for them.
The ways of the parents: How they were brought up and the lifestyle that they choose individually or collectively as a husband and wife.
The ways of the community: The tradition of a people and the level of knowledge of the local authority impact on the people.
The ways of the external world: These include the larger government of the nation and beyond. They play a deeper role in destroying people in disguise. The Lust of the Flesh, The Lust of the Eyes and Pride of this life ( 1 John 2:15-17 ).
Consider the story of Judah, his sons and Tamar in ( Genesis 38:1-30 )
Verse 11 says, "Judah then said to his daughter-in-law Tamar, “Live as a widow in your father's household until my son Shelah grows up.” For he thought, “He may die too, just like his brothers.” So Tamar went to live in her father's household."
Good Parenting:
This means that the parents are doing all the right things to make sure the child lives up to standard in the society. This does not include granting the child unnecessary access and luxury, but unfortunately, this seems to be the case. Again ( Proverb 22:6 ) says, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” this is very important. ( 1 Samuel 2:12-36 ) in verse 12 says, "Eli's sons were scoundrels; they had no regard for the Lord." King David’s first six sons were by six different wives ( 2 Samuel 3:2–6 ). Absalom slept with his father’s concubines ( 2 Samuel 16:22 ) and Ammon raped his sister ( 2 Samuel 13:14,15 ) In the same vein, many other God-fearing people were not very successful with some of their children even though they were very good parents because they loved God. This also happens under spiritual coverings. So, is it possible to attain good parenting at a high level by a man's will or/and effort? For me, the answer is no!
Political Status: Clan, local, state, national and international level
Religion: Ideas, instructions and beliefs from a religion
Social Network: The group of friends people hang out with and emulate.
Considering the above three influences, is it possible to attain good parenting at a high level on a man's Political Status, Religion, Social Network, or even all three combined? For me, is no! The answers also lie in the stories of King David and Eli, and many others. There are only good parents with great flaws by human standards. But hear what God says in ( Zechariah 4:6 ) "So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty."
The Best Parenting:
Isaiah said of God in Isaiah 64:8 ( ), "Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay; you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand." God has always been our father from the beginning of creation, before and through the shameful fall of ignorance of our first great parents, and after the fall. Since the birth of Jesus Christ, He has been our father via the birth, adoption, blood, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. Isaiah again declares that God is our Father in Isaiah 63:16 ( ), “But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name. This statement was talking to Jesus Christ in the future about being from ancient times, of old. I remember the first time Jesus Christ appeared and spoke to me; He said, “I am your father, and I will take care of you.” He has been our father, although we have been far from Him. But He has reconciled us back to Himself, to the God Family because of the excellent work accomplished by Jesus Christ, His only begotten son by whom He has demonstrated His love toward us according to Romans 5:8 ( ), "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Every person who comes into the family of God comes through a supernatural birth which is determined by God Himself just as the natural and supernatural birth of our Lord Jesus Christ was personally orchestrated by Almighty God Himself. That is why we should not be too baffled by the following comparisons of the birth of Jesus Christ and of us His children by grace. ( Luke 1:35 ) the angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. ( John 3:5-6 ) Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. Jesus Christ Himself was adopted right from conception by Joseph His stepfather because God sent the angel Gabriel to inform Joseph about the supernatural conception of baby Jesus in the womb of the virgin Mary. ( Matthew 1:20 ) "But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit". You see, Jesus Christ is a type of Moses who was adopted by Pharaoh's daughter. He was eventually used by God to deliver His chosen people from the Egyptians! In the same vein, Jesus Christ though the son of God was adopted and was used by His God and Father to deliver the entire world. ( John 1:12-13 ) "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. Why? Because God calculated it right from the beginning according to ( Ephesians 1:5 ) which says, “He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—”.
In ( Colossians 1:20 ) ...and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. According to ( 1 Peter 1:18-19 ) “For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. ( Roman 6:4 ) "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." ( Hebrews 9:14 ) "How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!" ( Leviticus 17:11 ) "For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for your selves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life." ( Revelation 1:5 ) "...and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood..."
The work of Jesus Christ in the natural body was completed when He died and was buried, and He obtained His glorified body when He resurrected from death, but His mission to redeem the world was completed when he ascended into heaven, where he is seated at the right hand of God our Father. This is evident in ( John 20:16-18 ) ) where Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”). Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her." In this manner, we will be complete in Jesus Christ when we join him in heaven in our gloried bodies. Even before then, His ascension has given us the privilege to enter into heaven in our spiritual entities when we engage in the activities of the kingdom of our Heavenly Father. We are at this present time able to access events only spirits should know of- it is a gift according to ( Ephesians 4:8 ), "This is why it says: “When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people.” God has allowed me the opportunity of being taken to heaven twice where I was shown certain things. Because we are the children of God by descent (baptism- immersion and brought out of the water- signifying to be dead and buried in sin and resurrection with Jesus Christ), we also qualify as His children by His ascension because ( Ephesians 4:9-10 ) says, "What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.

MESSAGE INTRODUCTION: It would be very foolish for anyone to ask me how I came into this world because it is evident that by whichever means (conception) it was, I came into existence by a man (sperm) and a woman (egg). So, I have a natural father and mother, whether known or unknown, but fortunately, I knew both. I answer my family’s name, Osigwe, as my last name or surname. Unfortunately, this connects me to all Osigwes in the world until it is narrowed down to country, city, town, village and clan, which is a long way! The easiest way to track me down to my extended family and then to my parents would be through DNA. My personality is a combination of those of my parents and their lineages. I may try to control some of my presentations to avoid certain aspects that I consider awkward, as I have already noticed them in the presentations of my parents and some of their family members. This will still not separate me from my parents and lineages because they're all captured in the DNA. And if I were adopted, I could still be traced to my actual parents. Grasp more about parents from my other message: True Child | True Parent. The conception and birth story of Jesus Christ is a bit weird but supernatural because only a woman was present in the physical aspect of the process. Science can easily prove that it is not possible for such to happen. Therefore, it will easily be said by anyone that the process of Jesus’ birth was a fraud. Thank God for scriptures that have the reality of the circumstances surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ! Here is my discussion of Jesus Christ as The Son of Man, The Son of God and The Word of God.
THE SON OF MAN: The ‘son of man’ as a title of Jesus is very simple to comprehend. He is called so because he was given birth by a woman. It also indicates that he is a full-fleshed and blooded human being even though a virgin gave birth to him! How possible is this without male involvement? By the way, any human being could be addressed as ‘son of man’. Ezekiel was always called ‘son of man’ by God. Let's look at 'the son of man' from the bible's perspective: Adam is translated to man in English. Genesis 1:26 ( ) says, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…” from that time on, everybody became like Adam because the same was said of Adam in Gen 5:3 ( ), “And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth.” This means that males and females have the same spirit God breathed into Adam, and of course, Eve was made from Adam (man). They are only different in their physical and, perhaps, biological structures. Genesis 1:27 ( ) already says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created him; male and female created them.” Put in another way, God created male and female- mankind -from the same breath that He breathed into Adam, Man. So, therefore, there is Adam in every human being. That is why when Adam sinned and fell, all mankind also fell, even during their conception.
Let's consider Daniel 3:25 ( ), which says “He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” and Daniel 7:13-14 ( ) which says, “I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall
not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.” Notice that Jesus had not yet been born during this vision but already existed in heaven. The Psalmist also revealed the pre-incarnation of Jesus Christ in the following statements: Psalms 80:17-19 ( ), “Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself. Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name. Restore us, LORD God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.” Finally, Jesus Christ also referred to Himself by the title ‘The Son of Man' in many places in the four gospels of which some are: in Matthew 8:20 ( ) “Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head”; Mark 2:28 ( ) “So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath”; Luke 19:10 ( ) “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost”; John 1:51 ( ) “He then added, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
Stephen saw Jesus Christ clearly at his point of death in Acts 7:56 ( ), “And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.” Notice that he used the exact term ‘the son of man’ Jesus used to refer to himself while He was here on earth. This is because Stephen had been around Jesus physically before He ascended into heaven. David also had seen Him clearly in Psalms 80:17-19 ( ) as the son of man. God allowed David to see the true picture of Jesus Christ hundreds of years before He was born or incarnated. No wonder! He is called the son of David. The definite article ‘the’ makes a big difference in the Psalmist and Stephen’s visions from those of Daniel in Daniel 7:13-14 ( ), where He was “one like a son of man” and John in Revelation 1:13 ( ) where he was “someone like a son of man” and 14:14 ( ) where He was again “one like a son of man”. Daniel and John saw a different manifestation or glory of Jesus Christ in their visions. Perhaps this manifestation is beyond their comprehension because they probably saw a man who they could only describe as God but also has the appearance of a man. Jesus Christ was both man and God in their visions, so they described Him as ‘one like a son of man’.
